3. Festival and regatta of traditional sailing boats “Creski kaić 2021”

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, fans of traditional sailing boats will gather in the port of Cres.
the third festival and regatta “Creski kaić”.
Pasare, guci, gajete and batana are traditional vessels that have been built and used in our region for centuries.

Arrival and descent into the sea is scheduled for Friday 20.08 in the afternoon, and the boats will be moored in the port, where they will be able to see and exchange experiences.
The start of the regatta is at the sound of bells at noon, and in the evening it will parade in the mandrac.
This year, the pasara “Diodata”, built in 1931 in Cres, and renovated through the “Arca Adriatica” project, will take part in the premiere.
